A made human – Group show with Veronika Witte
LOCATION: Kallmann Museum, Schloßstr. 3b, 85737 Ismaning
From May through September Veronika Witte takes part in the exhibition Ein gemachter Mensch (engl. A made human) at Kallmann Museum in Munich-Ismaning. She presents her installation “Liquid identities” with sculptures, videos, drawings and the Archiv ISF.
Who am I, anyway? And why am I the way I am? In the 21st century, the answer to this question seems to have become increasingly complex. Conventional identities dissolve or are reinterpreted, while at the same time there are completely new possibilities for the formation of identities. The question arises as to how far human identity is’made’, i.e. determined by one’s own decisions and actions, and to what extent aspects play a role on which one as an individual has no influence. The international group exhibition in the Kallmann Museum explores these questions from an artistic perspective.
