“Building the Garden” – Solo Exhibition of Seet van Hout
LOCATION: Im Schloßpark 12, 33104 Paderborn, Germany
The exhibition with works by the Dutch artist Seet van Hout (Nijmegen, *1957) transforms the gallery into an atmospheric pictorial space. Her works, which combine flowing painting, drawn embroidery and free thread play, are of high aesthetics and fascinating density. Abstract forms and embroidered plant motifs combine in the pictures into a profound cosmos that creates an imaginary garden between growth and decay, scientific illustration and sensuality.
