“Formas para un mundo perfecto” – Exhibition of PSJM

Blanca Soto gallery is delight to present the sixth exhibition of PSJM in Madrid. PSJM presents “Formas para un mundo perfecto”(“Shapes for a perfect world”), PSJM presents three reliefs of a court produced with noble materials, as the wood of mahogany or the bronze and the stainless steel. These sculptures of wall accompany of pages of a fictitious diary in which there are narrated the motivations and creative processes that help to prepare these beautiful forms. in PSJM’s work different disciplines come together: literature, sculpture, design and philosophical reflection. “Formas para un mundo perfecto” (2017): “There’s no injustice in the world. Humans relationships comes in harmony and in peace. After the globalization there’s nothing to fight for, nothing to criticize, nothing to be worry about it. Finally we can get back to the the comforting and beautiful shapes”.
PSJM is a creativity team composed by Cynthia Viera (Las Palmas G.C., 1973) and Paul San José (Mieres, 1969). PSJM appears as a ” marca de arte ” (” a brand of art”), appropriating this way of the procedures and strategies of the capitalism advanced to subvert his symbolic structures, a requirement to exclude the traditional suppositions on the artistic action.
PSJM has been included in the 100 most representative artists of the political international art in Art and Agenda: Political Art and Activism (Gestalten, Berlin, 2011).
