The group exhibition “Standard International # 5: Spatial Manifestation” in the Gründerzeit ensemble GLINT in Berlin-Mitte presents sculptures and site-specific installations that stand for a characteristic material aesthetics, especially of the Berlin reunification period. In the works shown here, spatial experiences of these years are manifested in artistic forms.
Eberhard Bosslet is an established contemporary German artist and curator. The objects, he develops visually and aesthetically, refers to ‘concrete art’ whilst at the same time essentially maintaining their original functional element. After their “staged” presentation all materials of his artworks are to be given back to their original source.
