Baum Raum (engl. tree space) will be inaugurated in the frame of 48h Neukölln Festival in Berlin. The artist duo will do performances, exhibit Chica’s “Sour Dough Installations” and facilitate workshops in the St. Jacobi Park every Wednesday.
An essential part are explorations of being in nature to help growing environmental awareness, forging human connections to nature by sharing knowledge and experiencing nature poetically, through art. After climbing trees and living a stone cage Christoph Both-Asmus and Chika Takabayashi encourage their audience to work free and intuitively with the elements, such as leaves, soil, wood, water.
